Find Your Breakthrough

 

All creatives feel stuck at one point or another, and oftentimes music can be the key to getting “unstuck.” Sometimes, all it takes to spark your next big idea is the right song. That was the idea that drove our Find Your Breakthrough campaign—spanning web, social and display ads, print pieces, merch, an aesthetic overhaul of all marketing channels, and a :60 spot featuring Director Salomon Ligthelm sharing how he finds breakthrough ideas with his own work.

By using themes of obstruction and clarity through the use of a tangle transforming itself into a perfect circle, the message of the campaign was reinforced through every visual. Subconsciously reiterating our purpose in the minds of filmmakers that through music, they themselves can become “unstuck”.

The Tangle, a never-ending, ever-changing mess, represents frustration and obstruction. The blob, not as noisy as a tangle but not absolute certainty, represents the path to progress. The perfect circle is the portal through which we see the end of the work and a gesture meant to highlight the exact moment you knew what the project needed. The perfect circle represents certainty.
